About Us - Welcome to Cup O' Paca Coffee and Teas

Thank you for visiting Cup O’ Paca Coffee and Teas! We’re a boutique, online-only coffee, tea, and merchandise brand based in Southern California, connected to Rolling Rock Ranch Heritage Farms, home to our alpacas, Sapphire Dragon Orchids, and now, our carefully curated coffee and tea offerings.

We hope each cup of our coffee and tea brings a moment of calm, a pause in your day, and a little joy. From time to time, you may also find us at farmer’s markets and craft fairs, sharing our love of coffee, tea, and farm life in person. (A calendar page for upcoming events is coming soon!)

Why coffee and tea? Simply put—we love a good cup. These products let us share our passion with you, while also giving a nod to our farm life and the quirky humor that comes with it (“alpaca beans,” anyone?). We partner with Temecula Coffee Roasters because they share our commitment to quality, freshness, and fast delivery, ensuring your coffee arrives peak-roasted and ready to enjoy.

And yes, we get asked… are there alpaca beans in the coffee? Short answer: No. The references are just for fun. What you do get is fresh high-quality coffee and tea, delivered with a lighthearted sense of humor. Because life—and your cup—shouldn’t always be taken too seriously.

Meet the Alpacas

At Rolling Rock Ranch Heritage Farms, we have a happy and healthy herd of alpacas—plus two llamas—who bring life, personality, and joy to the ranch every day. Our herd is friendly, socialized, and curious, and it’s truly special to watch them interact with children and adults with special needs, creating moments of connection and delight.

Our alpacas are Suri Alpacas, with a focus on the stunning Grey and Rose Grey fleece colors. Each of our coffee products features a brand ambassador from the herd, letting you enjoy a little piece of ranch life with every cup. You’ll find more details about each alpaca in the product descriptions toward the bottom, so you can get to know our furry friends as well as our coffee.

With every sip, we hope you feel a connection to the calm, joyful energy of our herd—and a reminder to slow down, savor the moment, and enjoy life’s small pleasures.

Meet the Founders

Rob Shepherd and Michael James founded Rolling Rock Ranch Heritage Farms in 2014. Both grew up in farm and ranch families in the South, and they carry that hands-on, relaxed lifestyle into everything they do. Their goal is to share some of their favorite products that bring a little bit of that calm, farm-inspired rhythm to your everyday life.

Since 2013, they’ve been raising alpacas, mentoring many up-and-coming alpaca owners along the way. The ranch specializes in Grey and Rose Grey Suri Alpacas, prized for their lustrous, incredibly soft fleece.

Alongside farm life, Rob and Michael share a passion for high-quality coffee and artisan teas, and they’re proud to bring these carefully selected products to their customers. Rob starts his mornings with a big pot of coffee, always enjoying his first cup before heading out to care for the alpacas—a simple ritual that reflects their philosophy: slow down, savor the moment, and enjoy life’s small pleasures.
